و همانیست که یک جامعه اسیر به
لحاظ اندیشه و بیان به آن محتاج است .
این فیلم دارامتیک تر و اجتماعی تر از ابد و یک روز است و انگار مانند
سمیه در ابدو یک روز به بلوغ رسیده است .

از نظر من سعید روستایی مانند یک شوالیه در راس مبارزین آزادیخواه یک جامعه عمل کرده است و کسانی که به ملت و اخلاق و رفاه
و آب و خاک و نسل آینده و
تمامیت ارضی ایران دل میسوزانند
باید از تهیه کنندگان این فیلم حمایت کنند .

سعید پورصمیمی از بازیگران پیشکسوت ایرانی
و متولد ۹ اسفند ۱۳۲۲ است. او
از سال ۱۳۴۰ تاکنون در حرفه بازیگری
حضور داشته و با داشتن بیش از نیم قرن سابقه از بهترین بازیگران کشورمان
محسوب می‌شود و تاکنون سه بار برنده سیمرغ شده.
علیرغم سن تقریبا کم خود سعید روستایی توانسته آثار ارزشمندی را از خود به جای بگذارد.

همه‌ی این‌ها به این معنا نیست که «برادران لیلا» فیلم هدر رفته‌ای است
و ارزش تماشا کردن ندارد.
حقیقتا به چشم آمدن این ضعف‌ها به
خاطر توقعی است که خود سعید روستایی با آن همه توانایی‌های تکنیکی در خلق سکانس‌های منفرد و هم‌چنین
بخش‌هایی جذاب و پر کشش در هر سه فیلم بلندش، ایجاد کرده
است. حتی در لحظه‌ی گرفتن عکس خانوادگی در حیاط خانه، روستایی نشان می‌دهد
که در اندازه نگه داشتن احساسات جاری در یک سکانس و تاثیرگذار کردنش
بسیار توانا است. قرار گرفتن
این لحظات خوب در کنار هم و البته
توانایی بالای کارگردان در سرگرم کردن مخاطب
فقط این حسرت را باقی می‌گذارد که «برادران لیلا» می‌توانست
به اثر بهتری تبدیل شود و البته این امید را

نیست، بلکه یک شغل محسوب می‌شود و
در واقع وضعیتی را نشان می‌دهد که
مرز بین این دو مورد تار شده است.
